During the autumn break, Gisselfeld Manor hosts the "Light in Nature" festival, where Morten Lind’s magical light art transforms the landscape into a fairytale world of light and shadow. Renowned for his impressive art installations, Morten Lind has spent over 40 years creating works that blend technology with the beauty of nature; this time, Gisselfeld Manor becomes the stage for his creative magic.
As darkness falls, the manor park turns into a dreamlike natural setting, with lights guiding you through intimate natural spaces and scenic vignettes. The historic manor building itself lights up, allowing the imagination to run wild. Atmospheric music by Niels Eje enhances the experience, creating a profound and magical ambiance. Children can go on a scavenger hunt to find fun animal figures and experience a touch of spookiness in the old Peder Oxe stable. The atmospheric Parade House stays open for extended hours, with the proprietors enchanting guests with plants from around the world.
