Gisselfeld Christmas Market 2026 (20/11 – 22/11)

Opening hours both weekends 20th-22nd and 27th-29th November ’26: Fridays 3 PM - 8 PM and Saturdays & Sundays 10 AM - 4 PM.
NB: The entrance closes 1 hour before (Fridays at 7 PM and other days at 3 PM).

Prices: Adults DKK 125 / Children aged 6-12 DKK 55 / Children aged 0-5 free. The ticket is valid for The Park, The Orangery and parts of the Castle which are open to the public while the Christmas Market is on, and which will always be decorated for the occasion. Is included in the ticket / entrance fee.

Get into the true Christmas spirit at Gisselfeld. Our biggest – and proudest – tradition in November at Gisselfeld must be the annual Christmas Market, where the scent of Christmas and the many inspiring stalls help to create the perfect setting. The Christmas Market, which always takes place on the last two (full) weekends in November, offers plenty of authentic Christmas atmosphere, hanging decorations, pony rides, food trucks, and much more. And while you're there, take home a Gisselfeld Christmas tree (and greenery) from the market.

Bonus for all children: Father Christmas will, as always, receive children and the young at heart in “Father Christmas's Grotto” in the Castle. You can also take the children down to the Workshop, where children up to 12 years old can create their very own Christmas decoration for free. Father Christmas's elf children will be handing out free bags of sweets to children of all ages. The local 4-H association will once again be in charge of pony rides on Saturdays and Sundays.
Please note: No pony rides on the two Fridays.

Payment methods: Cash can be withdrawn free of charge at both entrances and at the small information office by Peder Oxe Hall. Additionally, many of the stalls accept MobilePay and/or Dankort (the signal can be somewhat variable).
Information about dogs: Dogs are welcome and permitted, as long as they are kept on a lead (remember doggie bags). Permission only applies outdoors, and not inside any buildings.

Information for wheelchair users: Please be aware that there may be challenges for electric wheelchairs entering the buildings. We are not equipped with a ramp for this purpose (you may wish to bring your own). Standard wheelchairs that can be tipped will be able to enter. Companion cards are accepted at the entrance.

Please note regarding stand rental at the Christmas Market: Exhibitors can now register for the 2026 Christmas Market. Registration is now open.
