Application of pesticide-reducing spray technology and drone overflight
In 2022, we applied for grants to invest in pesticide-reducing spraying technology, as well as grants to practice drone overflights of the fields. This allows for the identification of areas where spraying for weeds is required. With the new spraying technology, pesticide use is limited, as it is targeted at the areas where its application is most effective.
An application for funding has been submitted under the scheme Environmental and Climate Technology 2022, Reduce pesticide use in crop production, scheme 6.2A and 6.2B.
