Of this, 2365 hectares consist of forest, which has been PEFC-certified since 2003.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The position involves:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Management and responsibility for Gisselfeld Forest District, as well as care of external woodland of approximately 700 hectares<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Daily management of the permanent staff (2 machine operators, 2-3 forest workers) as well as a varying number of temporary workers and contractors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sale of forest products and procurement related to the operation of the forest district<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Felling and planting plans, as well as general forestry and forest maintenance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The forest manager will become part of a management team consisting of operations managers from the estate's other branches of operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The forest district is managed with traditional forestry. There is also a significant production of Christmas trees and decorative greenery.
